This riad was selected by Quentin Wilbaux and his team in the late 1990s for its traditional classical architecture, its proportions, and its original architectural details (wrought ironwork, khokha doors, cedar gallery, carved plasterwork with its original natural pigments, brick arches and columns, etc.). It has been featured in several publications due to these remarkable characteristics.
It was restored to its original state during its first major renovation in the early 2000s. At that time, its owners also introduced modern comforts (structural work, bathrooms, and electrical and plumbing systems). In 2015, the new owner undertook a significant refurbishment. It has since been regularly maintained, and fortunately, over time, its beautiful original architectural qualities have been preserved.
